Duration

The flexible delivery allows students to learn quickly; thus, the time will vary based on each student's experience and aptitude.
The suggested length for completing the five core and 15 optional units is 936 hours.

Delivery

This Course Is Divided Into Two Sections:
  • Theory delivery and evaluations With a trainer's help, theory delivery and evaluations can be completed online.
  • Practical implementation and evaluations - Practical instruction and assessments will be conducted on campus.

Course Outline

This HMI Training course covers core engineering subjects such as materials, sustainability, mathematics, electrical circuits, basic programming, and Autocad, as well as advanced mechatronic ideas.
These will cover advanced mathematics, statics and materials mechanics, PLC programming, SCADA, pneumatic circuits, and Autodesk Inventor model drawing. This certification is comprised of five core units and fifteen optional units.

Eligibility Requirements

  • This qualification is available through the direct entrance. 
  • Full-Time Domestic Students' English and Language and Literacy Skills 
  • English Language Proficiency for International Students - must exhibit minimal language abilities.
  • Other conditions are decided by the Department of Home Affairs in Australia (i.e., satisfying Visa requirements)
